Having completed the first part of the activities on the protection and rescue of people, a period of reconstruction would follow, said Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic to RTS.

Dacic said that the Government had decided to establish an office to deal with the second phase, i.e. the recovery and reconstruction of what had been destroyed.

As he pointed out, this was done to have all donations and assistance coming to the country managed centrally.

"Also, we have recommended to all public officials and people from the public sector to make their own contribution, and all Government Ministers will give away one salary each", remarked the Serbian Foreign Minister.
