Serbian MFA establishes the Emergency Staff for collection of humanitarian aid and donations from abroad

MinistryFollowing the unprecedented flooding that hit the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has set up the Emergency Staff, tasked with coordinating action related to humanitarian relief and donations from abroad.

To this end, all the diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the Republic of Serbia, as well as all the diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Serbia in foreign countries, have been informed about the equipment and funds that the relevant Serbian bodies most urgently need in order to provide for the flood-stricken population and to alleviate the consequences of flooding. Moreover, the giro account numbers opened by the Government of the Republic of Serbia were made public so that all interested individuals and organizations could donate humanitarian emergency relief to:

- RSD bank account- Alleviating the consequences of flood emergency, number 840-3546721-89;
- foreign currency account- 01-504619-100193230-000000-0000- Ministry of Finance, Treasury Administration, Belgrade- foreign currency account intended for raising funds to alleviate flood consequences, IBAN: RS35908504619019323080.
