Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Serbia, Semuel Samson.

During the talks, both sides expressed an interest to further promote their political dialogue and strengthen the strategic partnership of the two countries, particularly through economic cooperation. The interlocutors assessed that the relations between the two countries are characterized by traditional friendship and mutual support with regard to the major issues of national interest.

Minister Mrkic reiterated the readiness of the Republic of Serbia to intensify its cooperation with the countries of the Asian and Pacific region in the period ahead.
