Dacic welcomed new ambassador of South Korea to Serbia

korejaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Lee Do-hoon, the new Ambassador of South Korea to Serbia.

It was emphasized during the talks that the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established exactly 25 years ago and that they have developed continually in various areas ever since. It was also agreed to further promote the political dialogue by exchanging visits at the highest level and intensifying all forms of bilateral and economic cooperation.
Minister Dacic welcomed the new Ambassador, wishing him success in the performance of his duties. Assessing positively the activities of “Yura”, the Korean company with four factories opened in Serbia, the Minister urged for greater presence of Korean companies and investors in Serbia.
Ambassador Lee underlined that the Republic of Korea devotes great attention to strengthening its cooperation with Serbia in all areas. He announced a possibility of new investments, especially by companies with products already present on the Serbian market, which are also considering opening manufacturing plants in the country.
