MINISTER JEREMIC CONVEYS HIS CONDOLENCES TO THE FRENCH FOREIGN MINISTER

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic telephoned French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner to express his deepest condolences at the death of Frenchman Brice Taton.

Minister Jeremic conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved Taton family and to the French authorities, underlining that Serbia and its citizens were equally shocked and devastated by the news of this death.

Minister Jeremic condemned any acts of violence and reiterated that Serbia had always been a hospitable nation. He also said that Belgrade’s authorities would do their utmost to prevent a tragedy like this ever again casting a shadow on the country’s image in the world.
