altRepresentatives of the city authorities of Tehran visited the Serbian Embassy on 27 December. The three-member delegation was headed by A. Tahmasebi, director for general and international affairs of District 2, where the premises of the diplomatic and consular mission are located. Serbian Ambassador to Iran Dragan Todorovic gave a brief statement to the reporter who accompanied them, and photos from the meeting were posted on the Instagram profile of the City of Tehran.

Ambassador Todorovic talked with the guests from the city administration about past and future forms of cooperation, including the matter of the ceremonial and official inauguration of the bust of Nikola Tesla. An initiative has been put forward to this end to consider the visits of mayors or expert delegations, primarily in the field of economy, education and culture.

Two years ago, Tehran was one of the three cities where "Serbian Film Week" was held, and Serbia was the guest of honour at the International Book Fair in Tehran, when a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Library of Serbia and the National Library of Iran was signed.
