Rome: Film screening of "Seven Men from the Drina River" documentary about Italian volunteers in the Great War

altThe documentary film about Garibaldi volunteers in the Serbian army, who fought in the Battle of Cer at the outbreak of World War I, "Seven Men from the Drina River" was screened at Cinema Tiziano on 27 February. The Serbian Embassy and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spouses and Staff Association organized the film screening which was supported by the City of Belgrade Secretariat for Culture and Youth Theater DADOV.
 
Ambassador Goran Aleksic, General Giuseppe Morabito and Antonino Sandro Zarcone, former Director of the Military Archive, who participated in the research and recording of the documentary, addressed the audience. Mayor of Marino Carlo Colizza, the descendant of two Italian volunteers - brothers Ugo and Cesare Colizza, was the guest of honor.
