trg bana_jelacicaMinister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkić will be in Croatia on 30 June and 1 July where, as a member of the Serbian delegation, he will attend the celebrations of Croatia's entry into the European Union. The main ceremony will be held on Sunday evening at Bana Jelacica Square. Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic and President Ivo Josipovic, as well as the presidents of the European Commission, the European Council and the European Parliament will address the citizens at the square. Since the highest ranking officials from the countries of the region will be coming to Zagreb, this occasion will provide an opportunity for the Serbian Foreign Minister to exchange information with his colleagues on the cooperation in the region and the continuation of the enlargement process after Croatia joins the EU. After midnight, on 1 July, at the border crossing with Serbia, Bajakovo, a board with the EU sign will be unveiled.
