msp zgradaThe Republic of Serbia welcomes the initialling of the Peace and Reconciliation Agreement of 28 February 2015 in Mali, putting an end to the eight-month intra-Malian dialogue which included Algeria in the lead mediating role and engagement of international players – the African Union, the United Nations, the European Union and the Economic Community of West African States.

Respecting the territorial sovereignty and integrity of Mali, the Republic of Serbia expresses hope that the process of implementation of agreed terms is to follow, aiming to reach a comprehensive and lasting solution to the conflict. At the same time, we expect that the initialled Agreement will contribute to a higher level of trust between the main parties.
